Longer floor life
An oiled floor needs little care, but at the right time
Proper everyday and periodic maintenance preserves the natural appearance and allows local repairs without sanding the entire floor again.
- Remove sand and dust. Use a brush or vacuum; an entrance mat helps keep abrasive dirt away.
- Use water sparingly. Clean with a lightly damp mop, never one that is dripping wet.
- Use the right care product. Choose cleaners and maintenance oil intended for oiled floors.
- Re-oil when needed. Frequency depends on use; a home may need maintenance oiling roughly once a year.
- Handle oily cloths safely. Oily cloths may self-ignite — always follow the product safety instructions.

Which floors does AA-Center install?

Can an old wooden floor be restored?
